Wife of Rangamati Judicial Magistrate Found Dead in Suspected Suicide

Police recovered the hanging body of Muhaimina Islam Urmi, 29, wife of Senior Judicial Magistrate Rayhan Chowdhury, from their rented house in the Alam Dockyard area of Rangamati on Tuesday afternoon. Initial investigations suggest Urmi may have taken her own life due to alleged marital discord. The body has been sent to Rangamati General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Kotwali Police Station OC Md Shahed Uddin confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway.
