Police recovered the body of an unidentified individual, believed to be around 13 years old, from a river in the Khan Jahan Ali Police Station area of Khulna on Saturday.
Shariful Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Khan Jahan Ali Police Station, confirmed the incident, stating that locals had spotted the body floating in the river and immediately alerted authorities.
A police team responded to the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to the Khulna General Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.
The identity of the deceased remains unknown, and further investigations are underway.
