Asiya, an 18-year-old woman from Thong Para village in Taltali upazila, Barguna, was electrocuted and died on the spot Friday evening while attempting to fix an electric wire damaged by a recent storm. Locals said she was trying to prevent harm to others when electricity unexpectedly returned, fatally striking her. Taltali Police Station OC Md Shahjalal confirmed the incident, stating that legal procedures are underway.
