‘Rally for Establishing Youth Political Rights’ Kicks Off in Nayapaltan with Massive Turnout

The BNP-affiliated Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal launched their youth-focused rally in Nayapaltan on May 28, beginning with the national and party anthems. Organizers anticipated participation from 1.5 million youth across Dhaka and surrounding districts, leading to severe traffic congestion in the area. A stage was set up in front of the BNP central office, where participants arrived wearing colorful caps and T-shirts while chanting slogans.

This Dhaka rally marks the final event in a month-long campaign that included youth seminars and regional rallies in Chittagong, Khulna, and Bogra. Leaders described the initiative as a commitment to democratic rights and youth engagement in shaping Bangladesh’s future. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to address the crowd virtually, outlining the party’s vision and political strategy. Senior party leaders, including standing committee members, are also in attendance.
