Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed confidence that the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) will one day voluntarily reunite with India, driven by shared spiritual identity, traditions, and emotional ties. Speaking at the Confederation of Indian Industry’s annual conference in New Delhi, Singh said, “Our geographically separated brothers will return to us, hearing the voice of their soul.”
He emphasized that most people in PoK feel culturally connected to India, and only a small segment has been misled. Singh also asserted that India’s future dialogue with Pakistan will focus solely on terrorism and the status of PoK, warning that any acts of terror will come at a cost.
