Over 300 Palestinians Killed in 48 Hours as Israeli Strikes Intensify in Gaza

More than 300 Palestinians have been killed in just 48 hours of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, with hundreds more injured, Al Jazeera reported on Thursday, citing Gaza’s media office and Health Ministry. The strikes resulted in 26 massacres targeting shelters, homes, markets, and aid seekers.

In the past 24 hours alone, 118 people were killed and 581 injured, including 33 civilians who were waiting for food aid at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation centers. An attack on a tent shelter in al-Mawasi killed 13, while 16 died in a strike on displaced people at Mustafa Hafez School.

Witnesses described scenes of horror, with bodies burned and emergency teams unable to reach victims under continued bombardment. Al Jazeera’s reporter noted the humanitarian situation has “completely collapsed.”

Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported that US contractors providing security at food aid centers fired live ammunition and stun grenades at desperate crowds, though the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has denied these allegations after reviewing video footage.
