At a rally in Gaibandha Municipality on Tuesday, Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam accused ‘fascist terrorists’ of plotting against Bangladesh from abroad, particularly using India as a base for their activities. Addressing supporters during the launch of the month-long ‘July March for Nation-Building’ campaign, Nahid condemned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League for alleged violence and corruption over the past 16 years, vowing they must face justice. He emphasized that the July movement was not about replacing political parties but about eradicating extortion, corruption, and land-grabbing. Other NCP leaders called for industrial development in Gaibandha to create jobs and reaffirmed their commitment to fearless expression for all communities.
