National Citizens Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari has sharply criticized the BNP, accusing the party of losing its political consciousness due to its obsession with power. Speaking at an NCP workshop titled “Fundamental Reforms and Future Politics” in Dhaka on May 31, Patwari warned the BNP to “come to its senses” and abandon what he described as threats to state stability.
He condemned BNP’s demand for elections by December, labeling it as political intimidation. Emphasizing the need for justice and democratic reform, Patwari said the younger generation would reject politics rooted in violence and coercion. He urged political leaders to reconnect with the people and understand their aspirations through democratic means.
