A motorcyclist, Obaidul Islam, 33, died on Monday evening after being hit by an autorickshaw in Ulipur upazila of Kurigram district.
The accident occurred in the Kayestopara area on the Kurigram-Ulipur road when Obaidul collided with the autorickshaw, causing him to fall and sustain serious injuries. Locals immediately rescued him and took him to Kurigram General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Ulipur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zillur Rahman confirmed the incident and stated that legal proceedings are underway.
