Advisor to the Interim Government Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan announced that the Jamalpur gas field can produce nearly 5 million cubic feet of gas daily for up to 12 years, ensuring significant energy support for Bangladesh. He praised BAPEX engineers’ efforts during his visit to the Tartapara drilling site in Madarganj Upazila on Friday. The advisor also reiterated the interim government’s commitment to conducting a credible, peaceful national election where votes will be cast freely and counted transparently. Senior officials from BAPEX, Petrobangla, and the district administration were present at the event.
