Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Thursday, performing religious rituals under Israeli military protection despite the ban on non-Muslim worship at the site, Al Jazeera reported citing Wafa. The settlers live illegally on Palestinian land in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested 30 people in the West Bank, including seven high school students just hours before their exams. The Palestinian Prisoners Society said 67 students have been barred from taking exams this year due to such arrests.
