The Israeli military on Thursday issued evacuation warnings for 14 neighborhoods in the northern Gaza Strip, including areas of Beit Lahia and Jabalia, as it intensified operations in the region.
In an Arabic-language statement, the army said it was “operating with intense force in your areas, as terrorist organizations continue their activities and operations in the mentioned regions.”
The warning follows a similar advisory issued Wednesday evening, which the military said was in response to rocket fire originating from northern Gaza. The renewed alerts signal a possible escalation in Israeli ground and air operations in the area.
