Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Muscat on Tuesday for a two-day visit aimed at advancing nuclear negotiations with the United States, with Oman serving as the key mediator. The trip follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s positive remarks on the ongoing talks, which he called “very, very good.” Pezeshkian emphasized promoting regional peace and stability, while Iranian officials confirmed nuclear discussions would be central to the agenda. The visit also coincides with talks on banking and trade cooperation, with Iran’s central bank governor arriving in Oman a day earlier. Despite limited progress in recent Rome talks, both sides signal cautious optimism.
