India has requested to postpone its scheduled ODI and T20 series against Bangladesh, initially planned for August 18-31. While the BCB had announced the fixtures with BCCI approval, discussions are now underway to reschedule the series to November or next year. Although rumours cite security concerns as a reason for the delay, no official confirmation has been given. BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul stated that discussions with BCCI are ongoing to finalise new dates once government clearance is received.
