The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Sunday formally accepted five charges against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun over alleged crimes against humanity during the July uprising. The three-member tribunal, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, also issued arrest warrants for Hasina and Khan. Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam submitted a 134-page chargesheet earlier in the day. Notably, this marks the first time ICT proceedings were broadcast live.
