Hefazat-e-Islam announces nationwide prayer for July uprising martyrs on July 5

Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has called for nationwide prayers and mahfils on July 5 to seek forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs of the July mass uprising and the recovery of the injured. In a joint statement on Thursday, Amir Muhibullah Babunagari and Secretary General Sajedur Rahman urged mosques, madrasas, schools, colleges, and universities to organize the programs. They emphasized the bravery of scholars and madrasa students, warning that the “July Revolution” cannot be allowed to fail and that students and the masses remain vigilant to take to the streets again if needed to protect the country’s future.
