Hamas announced on Wednesday that it is holding national consultations to discuss ceasefire proposals from mediators following US President Donald Trump’s statement that Israel has agreed to a 60-day truce in Gaza. In its statement, Hamas emphasized its goal of reaching an agreement that ends Israeli aggression, ensures withdrawal from Gaza, and facilitates urgent humanitarian aid for its people.
