Free agent center Guerschon Yabusele has signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the New York Knicks, including a player option, sources told ESPN on Tuesday. The deal was negotiated by agents Olivier Mazet and Richie Felder.
Yabusele, who starred for France at the Paris Olympics and signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, impressed with his 50% field goal shooting and 38% from three. The former Celtics first-round pick played in China and with France’s ASVEL before joining Real Madrid, where he won the EuroLeague title in 2023. His strong international and NBA performances have now earned him a key role with the Knicks.
