German Ambassador to Dhaka Achim Troster bid farewell to Bangladesh in a unique way by riding a rickshaw with his wife on Monday (June 30).
In a video posted on the German Embassy’s Facebook page, Ambassador Troster was seen wearing a lungi and towel tied around his head as he drove the rickshaw, greeting Bangladeshi citizens warmly.
“I am leaving Dhaka after spending four wonderful years in Bangladesh. Dhaka is only seven thousand kilometers away from Berlin. I hope to reach there by the winter season,” Troster said in his farewell message.
