Foo Fighters have released ‘Today’s Song,’ their first new music since 2023, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1995 debut album. The anthem, available on digital platforms, carries themes of personal evolution and perseverance, delivered through soaring crescendos and melodic optimism.
In a heartfelt note to fans, Dave Grohl reflected on the band’s journey of joy, heartbreak, victory, and defeat, emphasising the importance of unity and gratitude towards former members William Goldsmith, Franz Stahl, and Josh Freese. Grohl also paid tribute to late drummer Taylor Hawkins, saying his presence remains in every note Foo Fighters play.
Foo Fighters, comprising Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee, will kick off their Live 2025 tour in October, with shows in Jakarta, Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, and Mexico City. Fans can read Grohl’s full message at foofighters.com.
