Brazilian club Fluminense secured a 2-1 victory over Saudi champions Al-Hilal in a thrilling FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final at Camping World Stadium on Friday. Matheus Martinelli opened the scoring late in the first half before Marcos Leonardo equalised for Al-Hilal early in the second, netting his fourth goal of the tournament. Fluminense’s super-sub Hercules restored the lead in the 70th minute. Despite Al-Hilal’s late pressure, Fluminense held on to book their semi-final clash against English giants Chelsea.
