Two individuals, Abdur Rob Tapdar (60) and his son Sayem Tapdar (23), died after being electrocuted in Chandpur Sadar Upazila on Wednesday. The incident occurred when a live electric wire fell into the water where they were soaking jute plants near their home in Kaddipanchgaon village. Abdur Rob was electrocuted first, and his son was also electrocuted while trying to rescue him. Both were taken to Chandpur General Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station OC Bahar Mia confirmed the incident.
