Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has once again earned the prestigious AAA long-term credit rating and ST-1 short-term rating with a stable outlook from the Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd. (CRAB), marking the third consecutive year of this recognition.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar attributed the achievement to the bank’s robust financial health, prudent risk management, and a well-maintained asset portfolio. He emphasized the bank’s commitment to credit discipline, sound governance, and delivering long-term value for shareholders.
