Crude Bombs Explode at NCP Exhibition in Shahbagh Amid Rising Attacks

Two crude bombs exploded on Thursday night during the National Citizens’ Party (NCP) July exhibition at the busy Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka. The blasts occurred around 8:00 PM while party members were holding their event. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far. Shahbagh Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge Khalid Mansur confirmed the explosions, stating that law enforcement is working to identify and apprehend those responsible.

This marks the third such attack targeting the NCP within days. On Wednesday night, an explosive device detonated near an NCP procession vehicle in front of their central office at Banglamotor. Earlier this week, unidentified miscreants hurled a crude bomb at NCP Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain in the same area. These repeated attacks have raised security concerns among party leaders and supporters as tensions grow around their public gatherings and political activities in Dhaka.
