BTS have announced that they will reunite with new music and a world tour in 2026. During their first group Weverse livestream in nearly three years on Tuesday, the seven-member K-pop group confirmed plans to release a new album in spring next year, with group preparations starting in July. They shared that the album will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas, approaching it with the mindset they had at debut.
Additionally, BTS revealed plans for a world tour alongside the album to connect with fans globally. The group has been on hiatus since June 2022 to complete mandatory military service in South Korea, with Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, Jung Kook, and Suga all completing their duties by June this year. To keep fans engaged, BTS will release their first live album, Permission to Dance on Stage – Live, on July 18.
