BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has described the party’s 31-point agenda as the “epic of politics,” positioning it as a comprehensive roadmap to ensure fundamental rights such as education, healthcare, and employment in Bangladesh. Speaking at a divisional seminar titled “Youth Perspectives on Education, Health, and Fundamental Rights” at the Khulna Press Club on Friday, Ahmed emphasized that every BNP leader, activist, and youth should act as an ambassador of the plan.
The seminar, organized by BNP’s Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal, precedes a major divisional rally scheduled for Saturday at the Circuit House ground in Khulna.
Ahmed accused the Awami League of systematically dismantling democratic institutions, citing a legacy of one-party rule and fraudulent elections in 2014, 2018, and 2024, which he claimed led to a fascist regime under Sheikh Hasina. He called for unified national resistance and urged activists to prioritize the country’s interest above all else.
The event featured speeches by prominent political figures, academics, and entrepreneurs, including Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partha, BD Jobs founder Fahim Mashroor, and academics from institutions in Bangladesh, Singapore, and the U.S., who addressed key challenges in education, healthcare, and employment. Senior leaders from BNP’s youth and volunteer wings were also present.
