Billie Eilish dominated the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas, taking home the top honor of Artist of the Year along with six other awards, including Album of the Year and Favorite Touring Artist. The 23-year-old pop star, currently touring in Europe, accepted the awards via video, expressing her shock and gratitude.
Gracie Abrams was named New Artist of the Year, while SZA and Becky G took top R&B and Latin honors, respectively. Beyoncé, who did not attend, won her first-ever AMA awards in country categories for Cowboy Carter. Post Malone was named Favorite Male Country Artist, and Kendrick Lamar, despite leading with 10 nominations, secured just one win for Favorite Hip-Hop Song.
The ceremony opened with a high-energy medley by host Jennifer Lopez and included special tributes to music legends. Janet Jackson received the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating decades of musical influence.
