BCB to Revive Award Night After 19 Years

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to bring back its award night after a long gap of 19 years, with the last ceremony held in 2006. The decision was taken at a BCB meeting on June 30. BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul announced that the awards will recognize the performances of cricketers, journalists, and grounds staff to boost their morale and confidence. The board plans to implement a 4-5 year strategy to ensure the continuity of this program, which will be part of their broader “Hyperperformance for All” initiative to motivate everyone involved in cricket.
