BCB to Appoint Women Selectors for National Women’s Cricket Team for First Time

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided in principle to appoint women selectors for the national women’s cricket team for the first time. The decision was made during the 19th Board of Directors meeting held on Monday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Currently, Sazzad Ahmed is the sole selector for the women’s team. BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul stated that including women selectors will strengthen the setup. He also announced plans to expand the men’s team selection panel, which currently has only two members, Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu and Abdur Razzak, by adding another selector to better manage responsibilities.
