Bangladesh National Football Team to Begin Residential Camp Ahead of Matches Against Bhutan, Singapore

The preliminary squad of Bangladesh’s national football team will report to team manager Amer Khan at Hotel Intercontinental on Friday evening for a residential training camp ahead of their upcoming home matches against Bhutan and Singapore.

The decision was finalized during the third meeting of the National Teams Committee, chaired by BFF President Tabith Awal, held at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban on Thursday.

On-field training under head coach Javier Cabrera is set to begin Saturday at the national stadium.

The meeting also confirmed Bangladesh U-23 men’s participation in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers. Placed in Group C with Singapore, Yemen, and hosts Vietnam, the matches will take place from September 1 to 9.

Additionally, the senior national team is scheduled to play an international FIFA Tier-1 match during the same FIFA window in early September.
