Bangladesh and Turkey have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen football collaboration following a meeting between Bangladesh Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan and Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Ibrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu in Istanbul. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in infrastructure, training, and talent development. Adviser Bhuiyan proposed a friendly match to deepen ties, which the TFF president welcomed, suggesting a women’s national team match as early as August. Turkey pledged technical support in coach training, refereeing, and sports medicine. Adviser Bhuiyan also invited the TFF president to attend the upcoming Global Youth Summit in Bangladesh, marking a new era of sports diplomacy between the two nations.
