In line with the National Tree Plantation Program-2025, the Bangladesh Air Force has launched its own ‘Tree Plantation Program-2025’ to enhance the country’s tree resources and environmental balance.
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, Chief of Air Staff, inaugurated the initiative on Monday by planting saplings at the Air Force headquarters. Principal Staff Officers, directors, and senior officials participated, planting various tree saplings under the theme ‘Planned Afforestation, Build Green Bangladesh.’
Similar plantation programs are being implemented at Air Force bases and units nationwide, where saplings of fruit, forest, and medicinal plants will be planted to support environmental sustainability.
