Gaza’s civil defence agency reported that at least 50 people were killed on Sunday as Israeli airstrikes continued to pound the war-torn territory.
“Preliminary figures indicate that no fewer than 50 people have been martyred in the Gaza Strip due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes since early this morning,” agency spokesperson Mahmud Bassal told AFP.
