The Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party has formally submitted its supplementary reform proposal to the National Consensus Commission (NCC), according to a report by BSS.
The proposal was handed over to NCC Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz on Thursday afternoon at the Commission’s temporary office near the National Parliament Building.
Present during the submission was journalist Monir Haider, Special Assistant (Consensus Building) to the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government.
AB Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju, while presenting the proposal, emphasized the party’s commitment to flexibility in the interest of national unity. “From the beginning, we have maintained a flexible approach to foster national consensus,” he said. “Through constructive discussions with the Commission, we’ve found common ground on many issues where we initially had differing views.”
