Abu Momtaz Saad Uddin Ahmed, Additional Secretary of the Public Safety Department, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA). The appointment, made in the public interest, was confirmed in a government notification signed by Joint Secretary Abul Hayat Md. Rafiq on Wednesday, June 4, and takes immediate effect.
