Nearly a week of relentless rains and flash floods has killed at least 46 people across Pakistan, including 22 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 13 in Punjab, seven in Sindh, and four in Balochistan. Among the dead are 13 members of a single family swept away last Friday, with one body still missing. Authorities warn that the rainfall, ongoing since last Tuesday, may continue, raising fears of extreme flooding similar to Pakistan’s 2022 disaster that killed 1,737 people and submerged a third of the country.
