The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced that viva voce (oral examinations) for candidates who passed the written exams of the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will commence on July 8. In a press release issued Thursday, PSC detailed that candidates will have the opportunity to either change or retain their cadre preferences before their interviews. The required preference change form will be provided on-site and must be submitted to the interview board on the day of the viva.
A total of 452 candidates have been shortlisted for the upcoming interviews. Among them, 206 are vying for general cadres, 181 have applied for both general and technical/professional cadres, while 65 are exclusively targeting technical/professional cadres. Candidates can view the full interview schedule on the PSC’s official website. This viva marks the final stage of assessment to select future public servants who will join various administrative, technical, and professional roles in Bangladesh’s civil service structure.
